The logfile contains the detail on how matches were found (or not).

The logfile contains the following columns

  • ItemId

  • Category

  • SKU

  • EAN

  • Brand

  • MPN

  • Title

  • ExistingCompatibilityCount

  • MatchType

  • MatchDetails (logs)

The ItemId, Category, SKU, EAN, Brand, MPN, Title, ExistingComaptiblity count are all from the original listing data.  The EAN, Brand, MPN may have been sourced from the listing product data, or from the item specifics.

The MatchType will show the matches as described in the getting started article.

Each listing will have log entries related to the datasources searched.  Some example are shown below to assist with the detail.

2. TecDoc-EAN-Single

TecDoc-EAN-Single  - Single match found via tecdoc for EAN


3. No Match

TecDoc-NoTecDocBrandMatch - the brand "MEAT & DORIA" was not recognised  
 MVL-Matched ON:Make |  Model  - found Make and Model but at least 3 match points required to consider for match


4. MVL - Matched ON: Make | Model | Year

TecDoc-NoTecDocBrandMatch - the brand "MEAT & DORIA" was not recognised  
MVL-Matched ON:Make |  Model | year  - found Make Model and Year match, and details of match shown.
